Default Problem with Digital River - Are they accepting *any* orders?

I've just been having a frustrating couple of hours trying to order the Xmas 08 bundle online - despite trying 3 credit card numbers, Digital River keeps returning the message "We are unable to process your order. Please verify your information and try again.".

Now I haven't a clue what their problem is (aside from it being their problem, the credit card has been used elsewhere and the address is correct - phone number is kept private though) and this error message isn't exactly helpful. Is there another way for me to purchase from Strategy First or should I just give up and chalk this down to an incompetent merchant?

For reference, the account I had to create with them was real(dot)digitalriver(hyphen)com(dot)10(dot)anon10 0(at)spamgourmet(dot)com.
