Montreal, Quebec. May 3, 2002 -- Strategy First is pleased to announce that Chuck Kroegel has joined the company as Vice President - Product Development.
With his extensive knowledge of the gaming business, and his valuable experience in the fields of product development, general management, and research and development, Chuck is a valuable new asset of the Strategy First team.
Chuck began his career in 1981 when he published his first computer game with SSI, titled the Battle of Shiloh. Several years later, he became the company’s President. In addition to steering SSI to prominence, Chuck also played a pivotal role in the successful launch of various entertainment software brands for SSI, Mindscape, Red Orb, PF Magic and Mattel’s Interactive division.
Throughout his overall career, Chuck has contributed to the launch of over 400 software titles, most notably, Red Alert 2, Yuris Revenge and Renegade by Westwood, where he most recently held the position of Chief Operating Officer. Chuck was influential in establishing and maintaining Westwood’s overall operations, including marketing, finance, general management, and research & development.
At Strategy First, Chuck will lead the company’s internal development team, as well as contribute to the company’s third party publishing division. He will also be influential in the Company’s initiatives to become a leader in the worldwide market.
